If you've ever been in one of my Whatnot shows, you've probably seen somebody type it in the chat. Josh is a jerk.
Josh is my older brother. And I think it's time I told you what he put me through growing up.
The Monopoly board
We were playing Monopoly. I was losing. Bad.
So I did what any reasonable little brother would do. I flipped the board. Houses, hotels, the little dog, all of it on the floor.
Josh is a jerk.
The Nintendo
Josh was playing Mario. He'd been at it forever, he was way further than I'd ever gotten, and he would not let me play.
So I kicked the Nintendo.
The screen went black. His whole run was gone. No save. I was screaming so loud the vein in my neck stuck out.
Honestly, the only thing that ever laughed at me more than Josh did was the dog in Duck Hunt.
Josh is a jerk.
OK, here's the truth
If you read those stories closely, you might notice a pattern. I flipped the board. I kicked the Nintendo. I did the screaming. Josh was just trying to play his game.
So yeah. I was the jerk. I still tell it the other way because it's funnier.
Here's who Josh really is.
He built his own real estate brokerage, 1st Advantage Realty. Nobody handed it to him. He just outworked everybody.
He wrote a book, Choosing to Win with Financial Freedom. He's honest in it about the times he was broke and making dumb choices with money, and how he turned it around. It's short, it's simple, and I've read it more than once.

He's a devoted husband and dad. He built his businesses the hard way. And he gives a lot to help other people, most of it where nobody sees.
So is Josh a jerk? Absolutely not.
Don't tell him I said that.
